has been invited once again to perform her original
composition Champs des Flandres,
a song she wrote when she was 11 to commemorate our Veterans.
Proceeds from this single go towards Veteran's programs such as
Celebrating Canada’s Best - Honouring Canada’s Veterans a
nationally recognized program which presents our veterans with a lovely
poppy plaque which they can display with pride in their homes. Feel free
to listen to a sample of this single in its original French

2007 has been
amazing: representing Eastern Ontario in Memphis TN at the International
Blues Challenge; National fundraising events such as opening for and
performing with jazz legends Curtis Fuller (Coltrane, Miles Davis
and more) and Fathead Newman (Ray Charles and more) at the Starlight
Starbright Illumination Gala; shows in Upstate New York; opening for and
performing with The James Cotton Blues Band; opening for Jeff Healey
Blues Band at the Festival of the Islands; performing at Limestone Blues
Festival; International Jazz Festival Late Night Jamming; numerous club
and bistro shows; from solo performances, duos, trios and the full band
with award winning guitarist Lucas Haneman... what a Year! and a new CD coming in Spring 2008 Elyssa entered 2006 with over 260 performances under
her tiny belt, |
